Strip/Soft wax

Strip or soft wax is another type of hair removal wax commonly used in salons and for at-home waxing. Unlike hard wax, soft wax requires the use of cloth or paper strips for removal.

Soft wax is often used for larger areas of the body, such as the legs, arms, or back, where the hair is coarser and the waxing process can cover a larger surface area more quickly than with hard wax.

While soft wax can be effective for hair removal, it may be more irritating to the skin compared to hard wax, as it adheres to both the hair and the top layer of skin. Some people with sensitive skin may experience redness or temporary discomfort after using soft wax.

Both hard wax and soft wax are widely used for hair removal, and the choice between the two often depends on personal preference, the area being treated, and individual skin sensitivity.
