Strip or soft wax is another type of hair removal wax commonly used in salons and for at-home waxing. Unlike hard wax, soft wax requires the use of cloth or paper strips for removal.

Soft wax is often used for larger areas of the body, such as the legs, arms, or back, where the hair is coarser and the waxing process can cover a larger surface area more quickly than with hard wax.
